Overview:
The ATOMRC Swordfish is a 1200mm V-tail FPV aircraft designed for efficient cruising, long-range exploration and autonomous flight. Its EPP foam airframe is reinforced with carbon fibre throughout the wings and fuselage, providing a lightweight yet rigid structure that delivers stable handling while remaining durable enough for regular use.
Twin wing-mounted tractor motors leave the nose unobstructed, allowing flexible FPV camera installation or the fitment of an action camera using the removable nose section. The detachable wings and V-tail simplify transport, while ATOMRC's quick-release wing connectors and secure screw-mounted equipment hatch make assembly straightforward and help prevent accidental disconnection during flight.
The Swordfish is available in 3 configurations. The Kit version is supplied as a pre-built airframe for pilots selecting their own electronics. The PNP version adds the complete propulsion system and servos. The RTH version includes a pre-configured F405 NAVI flight controller with GPS, enabling Return-to-Home and other assisted flight modes, creating a platform that's ready for the simple addition of a receiver and battery.
