Overview:
The BetaFPV Monitor is an all-in-one digital FPV viewing system combining an ArtLynk HD video receiver, a high-brightness display and an integrated DVR. It is ideal for pilots who want to view live footage without wearing goggles, as well as for ground stations, bench testing, flight demonstrations and sharing the FPV feed with spectators.
Its 4.5 inch LCD delivers 1920x1080 resolution at 60Hz, with 1000-nit brightness for improved visibility outdoors. The built-in receiver supports compatible ArtLynk transmitters, receiving video at up to 1080p60fps with a bitrate of 25Mbps. An integrated DVR records received footage directly to a microSD card (not supplied), making it convenient to review flights or keep recordings for later use.
The Monitor is compact and lightweight, with a standard 1/4-inch tripod mounting thread for ground-station setups. It runs from an external power source rather than an internal battery, accepting either a DC barrel input or an XT30 connection. This allows it to be powered from a compatible 2-6S LiPo battery when flying away from a mains supply.
The ArtLynk protocol is a low-latency, long-range communication protocol for drones, offering superior stability and range over a traditional analogue VTX. ArtLynk protocol enables real-time HD video at about 60ms latency from glass to glass, which is crucial for smooth flight control and high-quality FPV footage.
