Overview:
The BetaFPV Matrix 1S Brushless Flight Controller (5IN1 II) is a powerful all-in-one solution designed for high-performance 1S brushless whoops and lightweight FPV builds. Combining a flight controller, 12A ESC, ExpressLRS receiver, 400mW analogue VTX and OSD on a single board, it provides everything needed for a clean, lightweight installation while delivering the performance required for modern freestyle and racing quads. Built around the STM32G473 processor and paired with Betaflight 4.5 firmware, it offers fast processing, precise flight performance and extensive tuning options. This is the current AIO for the Air65/75 II.
Compared to the previous Matrix 5IN1, the second-generation design features a significantly upgraded 12A ESC, a thicker 1.0mm PCB for improved durability and larger solder pads to make custom wiring easier. Gold-plated JST1.25 motor connectors improve electrical conductivity, while the integrated 16MB Blackbox memory allows detailed flight logging for tuning and analysis. An onboard 5.8GHz VTX provides up to 400mW output with SmartAudio 2.0 support, eliminating the need for additional video transmission hardware.
The Matrix 5IN1 II is available in both solder-free and solder-required versions. The solder-free version is supplied with the BT2.0 battery lead and motor JST connectors already fitted for quick installation, while the solder-required version allows builders to solder components directly to the enlarged pads for the lightest possible build. Whichever version you choose, the Matrix 5IN1 II delivers an excellent balance of power, durability and low weight for demanding 1S FPV aircraft.
