At the core of the system is a 1/1.8in Sony Starvis II sensor, providing improved dynamic range and low-light performance compared to earlier Avatar units. This allows the GT2 to maintain detail in both bright and shadowed scenes, making it equally capable for daytime freestyle and dusk or low-light flying. The system also introduces dynamic power adjustment and frequency hopping technology, automatically adapting to interference and environmental conditions to maintain a stable feed. Combined with a minimum latency of around 22ms and support for onboard HD recording via microSD, the GT2 delivers a responsive and immersive FPV experience.
Practical refinements such as an integrated cooling system, USB-C connectivity and compatibility with head tracking via Walksnail goggles further enhance usability.
