Overview:
The FrSky Tandem X18RS is a premium 24-channel radio transmitter that supports dual-band operation on both 900 MHz and 2.4 GHz. Powered by the FrSky ETHOS operating system, it combines high-resolution touch control, robust telemetry, long-range RF performance, and ergonomic, weather-resistant design features – a top-tier choice for pilots seeking confidence-inspiring reliability and flexibility.
The TD-ISRM RS module features dual 2.4 GHz TW RF mode and can operate simultaneously in both ACCESS 2.4 GHz and R9 modes using a single module. In this configuration, both the ACCESS 2.4 GHz receiver and the R9 receiver can be connected via SBUS IN/OUT ports to provide a redundant backup system. This setup significantly enhances RF signal reliability, especially in long-range remote control scenarios.
The newly upgraded antenna handle has been reinforced to provide improved impact resistance for demanding outdoor environments. Its thickened, robust design not only offers a more comfortable grip but also ensures excellent signal performance. The revised antenna structure transmits signal data more effectively, resulting in a more dependable flight control experience.
In addition, the X18RS includes two external antenna connectors, allowing users to mount additional 2.4 GHz and 900 MHz antennas. This further enhances RF capability under LoRa modes, enabling more reliable and extended-range control.
The X18RS features an upgraded 800×480 resolution screen with excellent sunlight readability. Key control components, including the trim caps and knobs, are constructed from metal, offering superior durability and a premium tactile feel for outdoor use.
The MC18 gimbals are CNC-machined from metal and offer adjustable travel. They can be configured to either 45° or the standard 60° travel angle, allowing pilots to tailor stick movement to their flying style.
