Overview:
The FrSky TW Mini Receiver is an ultra-compact receiver designed for models where space and weight are limited, such as lightweight FPV aircraft and small fixed-wing builds. Built around FrSky’s TWIN (TW) dual-band 2.4GHz communication system, it provides a resilient control link by operating simultaneously on two RF signals, improving reliability and link stability compared with conventional single-band receivers.
Despite its very small footprint, the TW Mini supports FrSky’s modern telemetry ecosystem and flexible connection protocols. The receiver provides SBUS output for flight controllers or servo decoders, while FBUS, S.Port and F.Port telemetry support allow bidirectional communication with compatible systems. When configured for FBUS within the ETHOS environment, control signals and telemetry can be carried through a single wire, simplifying installation and reducing wiring complexity in compact builds.
The receiver also includes features such as OTA firmware updates and onboard black-box logging, providing convenient firmware management and the ability to record operational data for diagnostics.
