KD Drones KD9 Cinelifter Frame

Overview:
KD9 is a 9" X8 cinelifter designed to carry a Red Komodo, Sony FX6, Freefly Ember, etc. It has a unique I-beam design made of vertical arms clamped between two continuous plates. This creates an insanely strong and stiff frame, while being the lightest in its class by a considerable margin at only 446g.

KD9 has KDCM/DAC camera mount holes in the middle and slightly forward, as well as naked BM mounting holes on top. You can go down to 10 degrees with no props in view on a 9mm lens, and zero degrees on a 15mm lens. The battery is bottom-mounted for great CG balance and lower moment of inertia, and protected with a battery plate that also acts as landing gear. There is a lot of easily accessible space inside, with an abundance of mounting holes and zip-tie slots. The KD9 can also be an X4 by simply installing 4 motors instead of 8.
