Overview:
The Miniware TS101 GO KIT is a compact, programmable soldering iron designed for electronics work where portability and precise temperature control are important. Its slim 98mm body makes it particularly practical for RC, FPV and drone work, where a full-size soldering station is not always convenient.
The TS101 combines a high-performance heating system with an OLED display and adjustable temperature control from 50°C to 400°C. It supports both DC and USB-C PD power, allowing it to be used from a suitable power supply, USB-C PD charger or compatible power bank. DC input supports up to 65W, while USB-C PD provides up to 90W on the latest specification.
The GO KIT includes three interchangeable soldering tips, TS-B2, TS-BC2 and TS, providing a useful selection for different soldering tasks. The TS-B2 offers a general-purpose pointed profile, the TS-BC2 provides a broader chisel-style working surface, while the TS-K is a knife-style tip suited to applications where a larger contact area is useful.
The TS101 also features programmable settings, configurable heating behaviour, sleep and automatic shut-down functions, and firmware that can be updated or customised. This makes it considerably more capable than a basic portable soldering iron while retaining the compact form factor that makes it useful out in the field, workshop or workbench.
