Overview:
The RunCam Split 4 V2 combines a compact FPV camera with onboard 4K video recording, allowing pilots to capture high-resolution footage without carrying a separate action camera. Its Sony 13MP image sensor records at up to 4K/30fps, with additional recording modes for smoother footage at lower resolutions. The camera also provides a low-latency analogue video output for FPV flying, allowing pilots to record HD footage while maintaining a conventional live video feed to their goggles.
The split design separates the small camera module from the main recording board, giving greater flexibility when installing it in compact freestyle, racing and cinematic FPV builds. A UART connection allows compatible flight controllers to control recording and camera modes, while the 25.5 × 25.5mm mounting pattern makes it suitable for a large range of frames.
