Overview:
The Caddx Walksnail Ascent VRX Pro is a standalone digital FPV video receiver designed to bring high-definition Ascent video to compatible FPV goggles, monitors, televisions and displays. It's ideal for pilots who want to view or record their flight feed without relying on a dedicated headset, as well as ground stations, training setups and sharing live footage with friends.
Supporting video output at up to 1080p @120fps, the VRX Pro delivers smooth, detailed imagery for fast-moving FPV footage. Its dual-antenna reception system is designed to provide reliable signal coverage, while selectable bandwidth settings help balance image quality and link performance for different flying environments. HDMI provides a direct connection to displays and goggles with a built-in HDMI-in, while the USB-C UVC output allows the video feed to be viewed on compatible computers, tablets and smartphones.
An onboard DVR records footage directly to a microSD card (not supplied), including on-screen menu activity, while supported configurations also provide live audio. A built-in cooling fan helps manage heat during extended use. Its broad 2–6S power input range and compact design make the VRX Pro a versatile receiver for multiple uses.
