RadioLink Byme Flight Stabiliser

RadioLink Byme Flight Stabiliser. Available in two versions - Byme-A for normal models and Byme-D for delta wings.
Manufacturer: Radiolink

Overview:

The RadioLink Byme flight stabiliser is a three-axis gyroscope and three-axis acceleration sensor and the full attitude algorithm, control algorithm and digital filter combined for radio control model planes. The Byme is available in two versions - Byme-D for Delta wings or the Byme-A for normal fixed wing planes. The byme weighs in at only 4.5g including wires so can be used on all sizes of RC model plane.

The Byme-A version features multiple modes including Vertical Mode (Multicopter), Vertical Mode (Fixed-wing), Stabilise Mode, Acrobat Mode, Gyro Mode, and Manual Mode.

The Byme-D version features multiple modes including Stabilise Mode,Gyro Mode, and Manual Mode.

A description of the flight modes is available below :-

Stabilise Mode
Unlike fully manual, this mode has flight controller assisting to balance aircraft and is suitable for beginners to practice level flight.

Acrobat Mode
Being the combination of Stabilise Mode and Gyro Mode, this mode makes it easy to realize different free styles such as rolling, rapid pitching, backward, side flight and spiral descending.

Gyro Mode
Gyro assists to enhance the flight balance but the aircraft won’t level automatically. Pilots with certain experience take the Gyro Mode to practice better control of fixed wing.

Manual Mode
Without any assistance of flight controller algorithm or gyro, all flight movements are realized manually, which requires the most advanced skills. Various of freestyles such as backward, roll, loop, snake and over-low altitude flight can be easily achieved under this mode.

Vertical Mode(Multicopter) In the Vertical Mode (Multicopter), pilots can make the fixed-wing automatically fly with the vertical posture. Beginner Pilots suggest practicing with this mode.

Vertical Mode(Fixed-wing) Vertical Mode (Fixed-wing) is suggested to use when pilots with a certain fixed-wing foundation practice the crane control in the Manual Mode. It can easily switch to Vertical Mode (Fixed-wing) if the fixed-wing is out of control. Vertical Mode (Fixed-wing) helps reduce the difficulty of practice and better retain the pilot's confidence in practice.
